This is a Savanna and lies along the Tana River . It includes the Bisanadi, Mwengi Kora National Park and Rahole National Reserves. In addition to River Tana, River Ura, Rgeweru, and numerous streams flow through the park. It covers 870 Sq. Km. and is 348 Kms from Nairobi . This was the home of the famous couple Joy and George Adamsons and their Elsa the lioness. t. Kenya is visible from this park. There are various camping picnic sites and Meru Mulika Lodge is located here
