There is the majestic snowcapped Mt Kilimanjaro at 5895metres (19340feet) in Tanzania near the border with Kenya and the three peaked (Lenana, Batian and Nelion) Mt Kenya at 5199metres ( 17057 feet). There is also Mt Elgon which lies on the Kenya Uganda border. They all offer challenges to both for the amateur and professional mountain climbers. We offer experienced English speaking guides who are well trained in mountain climbing. They are able to gauge the abilities of the climbers and are well versed in the symptoms of mountain sickness and action to be taken when they arise.
